Village of Promise (VOP) will host its 2026 Speaker Series, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Tasha Austin-Williams, a nationally recognized leader in artificial intelligence, data analytics and strategic risk advisory services, as part of the organization’s 15th-anniversary celebration.
The event will bring together community leaders, corporate partners, educators, volunteers and VOP supporters for an evening focused on innovation and breaking down barriers that have historically limited access to success for children and families.
Village of Promise’s annual Speaker Series event raises awareness and support for the organization’s mission to equip children and families with the tools and support needed to break the cycles of generational poverty. Through cradle-to-career programming, Village of Promise works to ensure that every child and family it serves can reach their goals through a personalized strategic plan.
“This year’s Speaker Series represents everything we love about Huntsville,” said Jaymes Mooney, CEO of Village of Promise. “As we celebrate 15 years of impact, we are looking to the future to see how we can advance the mission of VOP by incorporating more STEAM programming into our early childhood development center. We’re asking our community to join us in creating lasting change so that the children we serve are the last in their families to experience generational poverty.”
The 2026 Speaker Series will take place on April 14th at the VBC Saturn Ballroom in Huntsville, from 5:30 pm – 9 pm CST. Corporate and individual sponsorships are available, and tickets are on sale now. Proceeds from the event directly support Village of Promise programs serving children and families in underserved communities across Huntsville.
