The University of North Alabama will celebrate 150 years of admitting women to the university with a festival March 10-12 called Weekend of Women. The festival will include several events, including the school’s Light the Fountain event and a performance by country singer Rachel Wammack.  – News 19

 

Fontaine Trailer will build in Haleyville

The city of Haleyville has authorized the sale of 52 acres for Fontaine Trailer Company and Transcraft for distribution and manufacturing facilities. – North West Alabamian

Brasfield & Gorrie tops out Texas resort

Brasfield & Gorrie held a topping out ceremony for its Omni PGA Frisco Resort in Texas. The resort, scheduled to open in spring 2023, will feature 510 guest rooms and Texas ranch homes, dining, retail and two championship golf courses. – Brasfield & Gorrie

 

Tyson closing Huntsville office

Tyson Foods, the parent company of Keystone Foods, will close its Keystone office in Huntsville. The March 25 closing will affect 58 Keystone employees. – Arkansas Democrat Gazette
