UNA board adds hospital president
Kyle Buchanan, president of Helen Keller Hospital in Florence, has been appointed to the University of North Alabama board of trustees. Buchanan is a Tuscumbia native with degrees from the University of Alabama, University of Michigan and University of Alabama at Birmingham. – News 19
Perdido River Farms breaks ground on new meat processing plant
Perdido River Farms in Atmore has broken ground on a 23,000-square-foot meat processing facility north of I-65 in Atmore. The new plant, owned by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, will create more than 24 jobs. – News 5
4 Hilton hotels sold in Alabama
Atlanta-based Hunter Hotel Advisors has sold four Hilton hotels in North Alabama and the Opelika-Auburn area. The sale includes Home2 Suites Madison Huntsville Airport, Hilton Garden Inn Madison, Home2 Suites Decatur Ingalls Harbor and Home2 Suites Opelika Auburn. – Hunter Hotel Advisors
