A $2 million gift from the William Henry McMullen III Trust will fund three chemistry initiatives at the University of Alabama in Huntsville College of Science. McMullen, who died in 2006, worked with Pfizer for most of his career and played a role in the creation of high fructose corn syrup. – University of Alabama in Huntsville

 

Startups win $75K from Alabama Launchpad

Alabama startups DevClarity and Autonoma were the winners of Alabama Launchpad’s Cycle 3 competition. Autonoma won the $50,000 seed stage competition, and DevClarity won $25,000 in the concept stage competition. – Bham Now

Tuscumbia receives electric school bus
