Department of Labor says two state businesses violated labor laws

Jennings Professional Services in Montgomery and Urban Air Trussville each violated the Fair Labor Standards Act, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. The Montgomery company misclassified some employees as independent contractors, and the Trussville business violated child labor laws, the department said. – Alabama Political Reporter
