Airbus CEO says jet demand will increase sharply
In a conference call on Thursday, Airbus CEO  Guillaume Faury said demand for single-aisle jetliners should rise sharply in 2022 after a flat 2021.  Airbus builds the single-aisle A320 and A220 jets in Mobile. – AL.com

Weyerhaeuser completes Alabama timberlands purchase
Seattle’s Weyerhaeuser Company has completed its $149 million purchase of 69,200 acres of Alabama timberlands from Soterra. The purchase is of land in southwest Alabama, about 100 miles north of Mobile.  – KNDU 23
