Judge blocks Gadsden rendering plant
Etowah County Circuit Judge George Day issued an injunction to stop the city of Gadsden from going forward with a chicken rendering plant planned by Colorado-based Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. A July trial will determine whether the ban will remain in effect or if the project moves forward. – AL.com 

Online job ads way up over last year
Online job ads in Alabama increased 69% in April 2020 compared to the same month last year, according to the Alabama Department of Labor. The top five occupations with the most listings? WBHM has new general manager
