Two Huntsville office buildings sell for $18 million
Two buildings in Huntsville’s Cummings Research Park, owned by Elmington Capital Group and Samples Properties, have sold for $18.35 million. Both were sold to Albany Road Real Estate, which is based in Boston. Huntsville-based Samples will continue to manage and lease the buildings.  – AL.com

Metal Shark’s shipyard in Bayou La Batre has delivered a towboat to Florida Marine Transporters in Mandeville, Louisiana. The four-deck towboat is the third of three contracted boats. Metal Shark has had a shipyard in Alabama for three years.  – WorkBoat

Pandemic unemployment benefits to end Saturday
As of Saturday, people receiving funds from federal pandemic compensation programs will see those benefits end. The Alabama Department of Labor has staff at career centers to help those looking to go back to work. Gov. Kay Ivey had announced the end of the program in May. – WAFF 48
