The Tuscaloosa County Commission has approved $175,000 in federal aid money to be invested in the development of an online jobs portal for area youth. Additional money will go to the West Alabama Works Workforce Center in Brookwood. – Patch

Marshall has new associate director

Rae Ann Meyer, who started as an engineer in NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center’s propulsion laboratory in 1989, has been named the center’s associate director. She’ll manage the center’s 7,000 civil service and contract employees and oversee development of business operations.  – U.S. News & World Report

 

Tinsley named Radiance president

Tim Tinsley, formerly an executive vice president of Radiance Technologies, has been promoted to president. Bill Bailey remains CEO of the Huntsville company.  – Radiance Technologies
