Trinity Design Group doubles Pell City center

The company also plans to increase its workforce over the next several months

Trinity Design Group is expanding its operations with a new 30,000-square-foot addition to its Pell City repair and logistics center, doubling the facility’s size. The company also plans to increase its workforce over the coming months.

The expansion is the result of demand for resilient returnable packaging solutions for the automotive industry. Trinity designs, manufactures, repairs and recycles steel racks that are used to transport parts between suppliers and original equipment manufacturers.

“This isn’t just about a building — it’s about building people and capacity,” said Fernando Valentin, Trinity’s president and CEO. “We’re ‘Built for Impact,’ which means making supply chains stronger, supporting our associates and giving back to the community that makes our work possible.”

The expansion will allow the company to take on more container repair services, welding operations and lifecycle management capabilities at a faster pace and provide comprehensive solutions to automotive manufacturers.

“Trinity Design Group is a cornerstone of our manufacturing sector, and this expansion is a major vote of confidence in Pell City,” said Pell City Mayor Bill Pruitt.
