Travis Bowen, D.O., joins Gulf Orthopaedics, an affiliate of Infirmary Health. As a sports medicine physician, Bowen will focus on providing healthcare for athletes and physically active individuals.
Bowen is a graduate of the University of Mobile. He earned his degree in osteopathic medicine from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan. He completed his residency in family medicine with the University of Tennessee in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He recently completed his fellowship in primary care sports medicine at the University of South Alabama. He has served as the team physician for the University of South Alabama, Springhill College and LeFlore High School.
