Toyota’s Huntsville solar project receives building permit
A $40 million solar project near the Toyota plant in Huntsville received a permit. The collaboration among Huntsville Utilities, Toyota Alabama and Toyota Tsusho America will lead to more than 70% of Toyota Alabama’s power coming from solar energy. – Bama Buzz
Birmingham dental group secures $100 million investment
HighFive Healthcare, a specialty dental partnership focused on endodontics and oral surgery and based in Birmingham, has closed a $100 million growth investment led by venture capital and growth equity investment firm Norwest. National list of women hospital execs to know includes 3 from Alabama

Austal USA constructing aircraft elevators
Austal USA, based in Mobile, has started construction on aluminum aircraft elevators for two U.S. Navy Ford-class aircraft carriers. The elevators are scheduled to be completed in November 2024 and March 2025. – Austal USA
