Toyota has revealed the 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid, providing even more options for SUV customers. The Corolla Cross and this new hybrid model are made at Mazda Toyota Manufacturing in Huntsville.
The all-new 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid sports all-wheel drive, increased power and fuel-efficiency, plus more cargo space. With 194 horsepower, the Corolla Cross Hybrid is expected to be fun to drive while having an estimated 37 combined miles per gallon for five grades of the vehicle — S, SE and XSE, as well as the familiar LE and XLE.
The S and SE grades come standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, 8-inch touchscreen, a sport-tuned suspension, LED head and tail lamps and smart key access. The SE and XSE grades will be available in four two-tone exterior color combinations. Interior options include power moonroof, single or dual-zone automatic climate control and the new Toyota Multimedia System with wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
On the safety side, the Corolla Cross Hybrid comes with Toyota’s suite of active safety systems including pre-collision systems and pedestrian detection. Improvements have also been made to the lane departure alert and lane tracing assist.
Mazda Toyota Manufacturing will be making 150,000 of the Corolla Cross vehicles annually, including both the gas model and the new hybrid model.
