UA plans 450-bed Covid isolation unit
University of Alabama trustees voted Wednesday to move some students into nearby off-campus housing, thereby clearing 450 dorm rooms to house students who test positive for Covid-19. The university will spend $1.2 million to rent rooms at The Lofts complex. — AL.com

PrimeSouth Ex-President sentenced
Jimmy Allen Monk, ex-president of PrimeSouth Bank, has been sentenced to a year in federal prison after pleading guilty to bank fraud, the U.S. Attorney’s office reports. Gadsden, Dothan see rebounding sales tax revenue
