No layoffs, furloughs at Alabama airports
Alabama’s major airports in Birmingham, Huntsville, Mobile and Montgomery have not had to lay off or furlough their workforce because of COVID-19. That’s attributed to cost-cutting and grants from the CARES Act. – AL.com

Regions, ServisFirst lead in PPP loans
Birmingham-based Regions Bank and ServisFirst Bank top the list of banks giving PPP loans in Alabama. Regions has given 6,820 loans totaling just over $722 million, and ServisFirst has given 3,254 at just under $700 million. They are followed by Kabbage Inc., Synovus Bank and BBVA USA. – Yahoo News

Buc-ee’s plans to hire 200 for its Leeds location
Buc-cee’s, which plans to open its second location in Alabama in Leeds on Jan. 25, is looking for up to 200 employees. The Texas-based mega-convenience store is conducting in-person interviews, but applicants must begin the process online. – AL.com

Talladega company awarded Air Force contract
International Enterprises Inc. in Talladega will make modular low-power radio frequency and dual-mode transmitter repairs on F-16s under the terms of a new contract it has been awarded. The $12,4769,948 contract runs through December 2025.  – Clearance Jobs
