The National Labor Relations Board Wednesday refused to delay a bid by Amazon to delay a hearing regarding the union drive of Alabama workers. Amazon wanted to push the December hearing to January, but the NLRB said no. The hearing will take place Dec. 18.  – The Washington Post

Bevill State groundbreaking will lead to more mine training
Bevill State Community College held a groundbreaking for a longwall expansion project at its Alabama Mining Academy.
