Mobile’s Myer Marine Services, a steel fabrication and machining company, will undergo a $5.5 million expansion over the next few years. The expansion will add 36,000 square feet to its facility in west Mobile and 50 new jobs. New buildings and properties will also be purchased.  – AL.com

Peco Foods donates to food bank
The West Alabama Food Bank now has 40,000 pounds of breaded chicken tenders, thanks to Peco Foods. The Tuscaloosa-based poultry company’s West Point facility donated and delivered the chicken tenders to the food bank, which provides food for food-insecure people in Alabama.  – WBRC 6

Trucking company relocating to Georgia
Kansas-based Yellow Company, the second-largest LTL trucking company in North America, will rebrand and close its office in Dothan, reopening in Thomasville, Georgia.  – Thomasville Times-Enterprise
