Hyundai Motor Co. will move some of its passenger car production from its plant in Montgomery to two plants in Korea, but some of its compact SUV Tucson production will move from Korea to Montgomery. Canada’s Pinnacle Renewable Energy, a wood pellet maker with one plant in Aliceville and another on the way in Demopolis, has been purchased by the Drax Group for about $650 million ($831 million Canadian). The Drax Group is headquartered in England.  – Cision

Voting begins on Amazon unionization
After the National Labor Relations Board denied an appeal by Amazon to stop a union vote at its Bessemer facility, ballots go out today to workers. Votes are to be tallied by March 30 and could lead to the first unionization of Amazon workers anywhere.  – Alabama Political Reporter
