Federal judge OKs $2.67 billion settlement in Blue Cross suit
Judge R. David Proctor in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama has tentatively OK’d a $2.67 billion settlement in a class-action lawsuit brought against the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. The suit accuses Blue Cross affiliates of carving up the U.S. insurance market. – Bloomberg News
Mercedes-Benz postpones 2021 marathon

Whalburgers will open Huntsville location
Whalburgers, the hamburger chain founded by actor Mark Wahlberg and his brothers, will open a Huntsville location by the end of the year, making it the only location in Alabama. The Birmingham Business Alliance and the Birmingham Education Foundation have created LaunchED, a program to retain talent in Birmingham by exposing students to internship and job opportunities.
