Governor to sign prison agreements today; Regions will end financing
Gov. Kay Ivey will sign two agreements today for privately built prisons, both to be constructed by CoreCivic,one of the nation’s largest private prison companies. Birmingham’s GoodJob raises $3 million in funding
Birmingham’s GoodJob, a tech company that uses data and psychology to improve time-to-hire and employee retention rates, has secured $3 million in funding, it has announced. The company launched primarily in Birmingham in June 2020 and plans to use the $3 million to expand in major markets across the U.S. – Cision
