Carvana is having a two-day hiring event next week to fill 150 entry-level positions. The event will take place next Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Jobs include automotive technicians for its vehicle inspection center in Bessemer. – WBRC 6

Hibbett Sports opened a new location in Vallejo in Northern California. The Birmingham-based sports retailer has more than 1,000 locations in 35 states. Hibbett sells footwear, apparel and equipment.  – WFMZ 69

USBA reaches $200 billion milestone
As of Friday, the U.S. Small Business Administration has provided $200 billion in emergency funding to small businesses, nonprofits and agriculture businesses in the U.S. The funding has come out of COVID-19 emergency legislation, and it has gone to help more than 3.7 million small businesses employing more than 20 million people. – U.S. Small Business Association
