Wisconsin-based Briggs & Stratton is more than doubling it production of standby generators at its Auburn facility. Auburn is home to the company’s engine plant and a 400,000-square-foot distribution hub. ASU will vaccinate Hyundai workers
Alabama State University is partnering with Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama to hold vaccination clinics for the company’s workers. ASU has secured 2,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine to be administered to HMMA workers on Friday and Saturday at ASU’s Lockhart Gymnasium.  – Alabama State University

Grants awarded to help small, mid-sized farms
The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Tuesday, National Ag Day, awarded $11.6 million in research grants to help small and mid-sized farms, including $500,000 grants given to Auburn University and Tuskegee University.
