Goodgame selected as construction manager for new jail
Goodgame Company Inc. has been selected as the construction manager for a new 300-bed jail in Pell City. The general contractor is based in Pell City. The project will also include renovations to the Ashville Jail, among other things. The budget for the entire project is $25 million.  – Anniston Star 

Atlanta vegan restaurant will open first Alabama location in Woodlawn
Slutty Vegan, a popular restaurant with locations in Atlanta and Jonesboro, Georgia, will open its first location outside of Georgia in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Birmingham. The menu includes plant-based burgers. – Rev Birmingham 

Dallas firm buys Huntsville apartments
