Ivey, others welcome Space Command review
Gov. Kay Ivey is among state leaders welcoming a review into the choice of Redstone Arsenal as the future permanent home of the U.S. Space Command. After concerns were raised by officials from Colorado, where the temporary headquarters are located, an internal investigation into the Air Force’s selection process was launched. Ivey, Sen. Richard Shelby and others say they welcome the investigation.  – WHNT 19

Small business grant program out of money
After giving out more than $200 million in grants to more than 11,000 applicants, Alabama’s Revive Plus program to support small businesses, nonprofits and faith-based organizations has ended. Gov. Kay Ivey said Monday that funding is no longer available for the program. – WBRC 6

Developer breaks ground on Birmingham Parkside project
Birmingham’s Orchestra Partners has broken ground on Urban Supply, a redevelopment of historic buildings in Birmingham’s Parkside district. The first phase will feature pop-up tenants and outdoor community events. The integrated outdoor spaces in the development will be connected by an alleyway called The Aisle. – Alabama NewsCenter

Birmingham’s Spoon & Ladle to close
Birmingham’s Spoon & Ladle, which has a storefront in the Pizitz Food Hall but also distributes wholesale soups, will close. The brand, started in 2014, has been on grocery shelves including Piggly Wiggly, Harvest Market, Beef O’Brady’s and Great Harvest Bread Company. The closing is due in part to COVID-19. – Patch
