Alabama will receive $4 billion as part of the $1.9 trillion stimulus package. Jefferson County will receive $127 million, followed by Mobile County ($80 million), Madison County ($72 million) and Montgomery County ($44 million). Alabama team will host virtual, in-person trade mission to Israel
The Alabama Department of Commerce and Export Alabama Alliance will host a virtual trade mission to Israel May 10-12. The hope is that an in-person trade mission to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem will occur later this year. Huntsville-born 3D-printed launching pad tested
NASA has tested a 3D-printed launch and landing pad, created by college students from around the country, that came out of a competition at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville. NASA gave no details on how the test of the launching pad, developed with a construction technology startup called ICON, went, though it took place in Texas. – Slash Gear
