Tim Lyons, partner-in-charge of Mauldin & Jenkins LLC’s Columbia office, has been appointed a member of the AICPA’s State and Local Government Expert Panel.
The panel exists to serve the needs of AICPA members on financial reporting matters, as well as audit and attest matters relevant to audits of state and local government financial statements.
Lyons is partner in the Governmental Practice and a member of the Assurance Committee of the firm, working with state and local government agencies and institutions of higher education throughout the Southeast. He also is a graduate of the AICPA’s Leadership Academy and involved in a variety of state and national organizations.
