Aldi, which recently acquired more than 400 Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarkets, plans to expand further in Alabama, rebranding at least four Winn-Dixie stores in 2025. Those stores are in Auburn, Pinson, Bessemer and Semmes. â€“ AL.com

Birmingham will have new country music festival

Organizers have announced the inaugural Iron Hills festival, a country music festival to be held at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham. The festival will take place Oct. 11-12, 2025. The lineup and ticket prices have not been announced. â€“ Bham Now
