The Valley Hotel, a 129-room luxury hotel in downtown Homewood, is set to open in January 2021. A Curio Collection by Hilton hotel, The Valley Hotel will offer guests a modern retreat, with spacious guestrooms, nine luxury suites, an upscale chef-driven restaurant, a signature café and more than 7,000 square feet of meetings and event space.
“With its beautiful landscape, burgeoning art and creative scene and charming, tight-knit community, Homewood is one of the best places to visit,” said Danny Hiatt, regional director and general manager at The Valley Hotel. “Our team is looking forward to opening our doors in this city and offering a sophisticated, yet comfortable place to stay and dine, while guests explore the unique area that’s just outside their room doors.”
Paying homage to Birmingham’s industrial heritage, the Ironwood Kitchen + Cocktails is the upscale restaurant that will utilize simple food to reimagine Southern comfort staples into the ultimate feast for the senses. It is paired with the Terrace Bar, as well as a café, serving specialty coffee and locally sourced food items.
Located at 2727 18th St. South in Homewood, The Valley Hotel plans to cater to corporate groups, weddings and other social events. It will contain the Red Mountain Ballroom, which will be customizable for events and offer an adjacent pre-function space. The Vulcan Boardroom will offer 400 square feet of meeting space, and the 1,000-square-foot Shades Creek Room will complete the event space accommodations.
The Valley Hotel was developed by Valor Hospitality Partners, a full-service hotel acquisition, development, management and asset management company based in Georgia.
