Shipt partners with Birmingham Promise

Birmingham-based Shipt, which is investing $1 million into Birmingham Promise, is launching the Magic City Mentorship Program. Birmingham Promise awards scholarships, internships and apprenticeships for graduates of Birmingham schools. The new mentorship program will have Shipt team members serving as mentors to 11th-grade students at Woodlawn High School and Wenonah High School.  – Alabama Political Reporter

Groundbreaking set for Saraland sportsplex

Groundbreaking has been set in two months for an almost 100-acre multi-use sportsplex in Saraland. Facilities will include an indoor recreation center with exercise equipment, indoor walking track, pickleball, volleyball and basketball.  – Fox 10
