State of the State address is tonight

Gov. Kay Ivey will deliver her annual State of the State address to a joint session of the Alabama legislature tonight at 6 p.m. in the Old House Chamber of the State Capitol. Various media outlets plan to stream the address live. – WBRC 6

 

Drone company purchases Triana’s GeoCue

mdGroup, parent company of Microdrones, has acquired GeoCue, a mapping, surveying and engineering company in Triana. In the near term, there will be no visible difference in the operation of the two companies. — Inside Unmanned Systems

 

Highland Capital Brokerage acquires two companies

Birmingham-based Highland Capital Brokerage has acquired two companies, Minneapolis-based Hallett Financial Group and Quotacy, an insuretech firm and Hallett’s sister company. Highland is a national life insurance and annuity distribution company.  – Yahoo! Finance

 

Cumulus promotes 2 to program director in Birmingham
