Longtime Birmingham sportscaster Herb Winches, owner of the Landing at Parker Creek on Lake Martin, will open the Landing at Harbor Pointe this summer. Winches was a sportscaster at Birmingham’s WBRC/Channel 6 and WVTM/Channel 13 before moving to sports radio at WERC and WJOX. – AL.com
