Southwest will resume more flights from BHM
Southwest Airlines will resume nonstop flights from Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport to both Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Houston William P. Hobby International Airport. The flights will resume Sept. 7, with the Birmingham to Houston flight operating four times a week and the Baltimore/Washington flight operating once a week. Coastal Alabama Community College offering some free tuition, fees
Coastal Alabama Community College will use $8 million in CARES Act funds to give registered students up to six credit hours, tuition and fees free while grant funds last. That’s up to $972 per registered students. Students must apply for admission by Aug. 6.  – Fox 10

Taziki’s founder opens new concept in Hoover
Keith Richards, who founded the Taziki’s Mediterranean Café chain, opened a new restaurant, Greek Street, in Hoover this week. It’s a fast-casual restaurant inspired by urban street food in Athens, Greece. The menu includes bowls, salads and gyros. – AL.com
