Spur, a staffing and workforce solutions provider in Huntsville, has named Sonia Robinson as its new chief executive officer.
She succeeds founder and longtime CEO Glenn Clayton, who announced last November that he would be stepping down. Clayton will remain active in the company as chairman of the board. Robinson previously worked at Spur.
Prior to her rejoining the company, Robinson served most recently as executive director of BIO Alabama, an advocate for researchers, scientists and bioscience business leaders. Spur has invested heavily I proprietary software to improve its pricing and delivering of staffing services. It focuses on providing services to the food service, custodial, instructional aide, office and other support positions for K-12 schools, colleges and universities, municipalities and event centers and more.
