Carnival Cruise Line said Wednesday that the Carnival Valor will be deployed from Mobile year-round beginning May 15, 2027. The ship will have sailings from six to eight days from Mobile, visiting the Bahamas, Half Moon Cay and other ports. – News 15

Dothan-based Construction Partners has acquired P&S Paving, based in Daytona Beach, Florida. The acquisition includes P&S’ two hot-mix asphalt plants. The acquired operations will be part of CPI’s C.W. Roberts Contracting, which operates throughout Florida. – Construction Partners Inc.

Tombigbee Electric marks completion of fiber project

The Tombigbee Electric Cooperative has completed its eight-year project to install 4,300 miles of fiber-to-home internet across eight counties in Northwest Alabama. The project will bring high-speed internet access to more than 100,000 rural residents. – Alabama Political Reporter
