Andalusia plans renovation of historic building
The City of Andalusia will renovate the historic Prestwood Building in downtown Andalusia. The city will partner with CDG Engineering, Big Mike’s and Town and Country Boutique to preserve and restore the building that dates back to the 1800s. – The Andalusia Star-News

Birmingham prison medical group will pay fine
Birmingham-based NaphCare Inc., which provides medical care to prisons and jails, has agreed to pay $694,593 to resolve overbilling claims from the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Federal prosecutors said NaphCare inflated claims for services provided inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution in Terre Haute, Indiana. – AL.com
