As if Mother Nature hadn’t been hard enough on Alabama this year, the attorney general now says that a company purporting to offer protection from storms was selling inadequate products.
Luther Strange has filed state charges against Tornado Masters, saying that the products they sell are not only inadequate to protect against storms, but also dangerous in their own right, with flammable walls, inadequate ventilation and flimsy construction.
Madison County issued a restraining order against the company, preventing it from further sales while the charges are pending.
