Shell sells Mobile refinery
Shell has reached an agreement to sell its Mobile Chemical LP Refinery to Vertex Energy Operating LLC. The Texas-owned Vertex is a refiner of alternative feedstocks and marketer of high-purity petroleum products. The purchase price of the sale, expected to close by the end of 2021, is $75 million cash, plus the value of Shell’s hydrocarbon inventory. – Cision 

Union members arrested at coal strike protest
Eleven coal miners were arrested on charges of trespassing during a protest Wednesday at the Warrior Met coal mine in Tuscaloosa County. They were all members of United Mine Workers, the union that has been on strike at the mine for almost two months. The miners arrested were released on bond on Wednesday.  – Alabama News Network
