Shalyn McKitt

Shalyn McKitt has joined the Litigation Practice of Balch & Bingham, focusing on healthcare litigation.

Prior to joining Balch, she served as assistant attorney general for the State of Ohio in the Health and Human Services Section, assistant regional counsel for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services – Region VI and senior legal counsel for a healthcare technology company.

She is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, where she also received a certificate in Governmental Affairs, and is a recipient of the Order of the Samaritan, the highest public service award bestowed by the University of Alabama School of Law. She also received her master’s degree from the University of Alabama.
