A Spokane, Washington-based real estate investment trust is acquiring an Alabama-based investment group, resulting in the Washington group owning about 154,000 acres of Alabama timberland. PotlatchDeltic, who bought CatchMark Timber Trust, owned about 87,000 acres of Alabama timberland before the deal.  – AL.com

 

Lauderdale County has record tourism haul

Lauderdale County brought in $280 million in tourism-related money, beating its record (set in 2018) of $248 million. That’s according to the 2021 Alabama Tourism Economic Impact report.   – News 19

Oxford shopping mall sold to North Carolina group
