Rodney Rushing has assumed the role of executive vice president and chief operating officer for ServisFirst Bank in Birmingham.
He transitions to this role from his position as executive vice president, correspondent banking, where he managed the Correspondent Banking Division.
Rushing joined ServisFirst in 2010 to start the Correspondent Banking Division, which has grown to more than $1.9 billion in deposits.
Prior to joining ServisFirst, Rushing managed correspondent and audit divisions and was executive vice president at Compass Bank. He also is a past chairman and 2008 president of the Alabama Bankers Association. He is an Auburn University graduate.
