Birmingham-based construction firm Robins & Morton and COPT Defense Properties are marking the completion of 9700 Advanced Gateway, a high-bay facility at Redstone Gateway near Redstone Arsenal’s Gate 9.

Robins & Morton calls the 50,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building the first of its kind at Redstone Gateway and the closest available to Redstone Arsenal.

“We are proud to offer the first high-bay building at Redstone Gateway, which is 100% leased,” said James Lomax, vice president of asset management and leasing at COPT Defense Properties. “Redstone Gateway as a whole is 98.4% leased, demonstrating that the demand for space closest to the commands on Redstone Arsenal is strong.”

It continues the partnership between the two companies.

“The completion of this project marks the delivery of another state-of-the-art facility as part of our longstanding partnership with COPT Defense Properties,” said Nick James, Robins & Morton project manager. “We began serving our clients at Redstone Gateway in 2010, and we are excited for its continued growth.”
