Austal finalizes long-term lease with San Diego port facility

Austal USA has completed the purchase of a long-term lease of the Marine Group Boat Works facilities in the Port of San Diego. The lease is for 27 years, and Austal estimates purchase of the yard and building a floating dock will cost $80 million. Austal USA is based in Mobile. – Austal USA

LumiHeal gets first FLE-based device FDA approval

Lumiheal Therapeutics, based in Birmingham, has received clearance from the FDA for its LumiHeal scar management system. Quebec-based Klox designed LumiHeal, which provides fluorescent and blue light to post-surgical incisions for scar management. It’s the first fluorescent light energy (FLE)-based device cleared by the FDA.  – Mass Device

 

Baldwin County complex sells for $31 million

Georgia-based Henssler Capital acquired Palladian at Daphne, a 120-unit multifamily rental community, for $31 million. The complex was built in 2017.  – AL.com
