Druid City Hospital System CEO to retire

Bryan Kindred announced that he will retire as CEO and president of the Druid City Hospital System effective July 31. Katrina Keefer, currently CEO of Augusta University Health, will succeed him, and Kindred, who has been with DCH for 40 years, will continue in a consultant role during the transition. – The Crimson White

Athens State has plans for new workforce center

Athens State University President Phillip Way presented plans at the Athens Rotary Club meeting Friday for a $40 million workforce center that would replace Carter Gymnasium. The university is still seeking local and state support to build the 85,000-square-foot facility. – News 19
