Tenax plans $1 million investment

Tenax Corp. plans to invest $1 million into its manufacturing plant in Evergreen. The growth project, which is expected to be complete by the fall, will create eight to 12 new jobs. Tenax manufactures orange plastic safety fencing at buildings, among other specialty projects. It has operated in Conecuh County for three decades. – Made in Alabama

Jeremiah’s Italian Ice coming to Alabama

Orlando-based Jeremiah’s Italian Ice plans to expand into Alabama later this year with locations in Birmingham and Madison. Each store offers more than 40 flavors of Italian ice, soft ice cream and Jeremiah’s Gelati, a mixture of the two. – AL.com

AAMA hosts supply chain, logistics conference

 

The Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association plans a one-day conference Wednesday in Huntsville connecting logistics providers, tiered suppliers, OEMs and more in the Alabama auto industry. Registration is open for the conference taking place from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Huntsville’s Jackson Center. – AAMA
