Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Sponsors Senior Bowl

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups has signed on as the new corporate sponsor for the Senior Bowl, played each January in Mobile. The game pits outstanding seniors against one another in a North vs. South match, with each team led by National Football League coaches.

Senior Bowl Executive Director Phil Savage calls the multi-year partnership “a perfect combination of two iconic brands.”

Reese’s is also the official candy partner of the NCAA and the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Reese’s College All-Star Game.

Alabama grocery chain Delchamps was the title sponsor from 1994 to 2000, with apparel maker Under Armour as title sponsor for five years ending in 2011.

In addition to a popular football game, the Senior Bowl brings some 800 NFL general mangers, head coaches, assistants and scouts to Mobile for what the game organizers describe as a “one-of-a-kind NFL Coaches Convention.”
