Progress Bank opens Tuscaloosa office

Brad Hayes named market president.

Huntsville-based Progress Bank will open a loan production/deposit production office in Tuscaloosa and has hired a Tuscaloosa market president.

Brad Hayes will join the bank as Tuscaloosa market president, and the office will be the bank’s 12th.

“With the expansion of Progress Financial Services in Tuscaloosa earlier this year, we have been anxiously awaiting the right time to add our banking services in the area and are excited to be moving forward,” said Progress Bank President and CEO David Nast. “Brad will be an integral addition to our senior management team with his impressive background in banking. A native to Tuscaloosa, he provides valuable insight to the wants and needs of our clients in the area.”

Hayes is a University of Alabama graduate and has 17 years of banking experience.

Progress Bank will open a temporary office at the Tuscaloosa Galleria on McFarland Boulevard. A permanent home on 12th Street is under construction and should be completed in 2022.
