Alex City approves road plans for Phase 2 of Russell Lands’ Heritage
The Alexander City planning commission approved road construction plans for Phase 2 of the Heritage, a 1,400-acre residential development on Lake Martin. This is an extension of the already-completed Phase 1 of the Wicker Point peninsula. Russell Lands moved up its 2024 start date for Phase 2 because of strong sales in Phase 1. – Russell Lands

The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that MTV’s “Floribama Shore” did not infringe on the trademark of the Flora-Bama, the bar and restaurant on the Florida-Alabama line on the coast.
