Bronner celebrates 50 years as RSA CEO

Dr. David Bronner marks 50 years as CEO of the Retirement Systems of Alabama this month. During that time, the RSA’s funds have grown from about $500 million to $43.9 billion. RSA manages pensions for 385,000 public school teachers and public employees. – Alabama Political Reporter

 

AmFIrst Rising Star program awards $25,000 in scholarships

Rising Star, a scholarship program from AmFirst and WBRC 6, has awarded $25,000 in scholarships to five high-school seniors in Central Alabama. Since 2009, AmFirst has awarded $214,000 in scholarships. – AmFirst
