Noopur Davis has been selected as the University of Alabama in Huntsville College of Science 2022 Alumni of Achievement winner. Davis is the executive vice president, chief information security and product privacy officer at Comcast Corp. and Comcast Cable.
“I am very fortunate to work for a company like Comcast, which takes cybersecurity and privacy very seriously,” said Davis. “It is very important for the company to honor the trust our customers place in us as they live their digital lives on and through our products and platforms.”
Davis joined Comcast from Intel, where she served as vice president, global quality, for the Intel Security Group. She previously served as a visiting scientist and senior member of technical staff at the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute and has held various positions with Fortune 500 companies.
She also serves on the advisory board of Comcast/NBCUniversity TechWomen. She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Association of Computing Machinery and the Women in Cable Telecommunications.
