Nippon, U.S. Steel finalize merger
Pittsburgh-based U.S. Steel has finalized its merger with Japanese company Nippon Steel. The merged company will retain the U.S. Steel name, and Nippon promises “massive investments” across U.S. Steel’s footprint, including in Fairfield.
